Natural Product Industry Announces Outstanding Contribution Award Winner

A long-standing member of New Zealand’s natural products industry was recently presented with an award recognising his outstanding contribution.

Natural Products NZ (NPNZ) is a national industry organisation representing this country’s natural products, functional foods, complementary medicines, cosmeceuticals and nutraceuticals industries.

Longstanding natural health products industry member Mark Mathews received Natural Products NZ’s Outstanding Contribution to the Industry award at NPNZ’s recent annual Summit.

The award is not conferred every year and is only made in cases where someone has been “truly outstanding”.

Alison Quesnel, NPNZ’s Corporate Affairs Director, commented that Mr Mathews’ contribution to the industry went far deeper than just being involved in industry groups and campaigning for positive change.

“His progressive and visionary management has seen him successfully lead companies through tremendous growth and development.  This has benefited the sector in many ways, including facilitating job and business growth.

“He is a great mentor and has helped many people in the industry to progress,” says Ms Quesnel.
