Ministry of Health: Natural Health Products Bill Workshops

The Ministry of Health is continuing to work on developing the Natural Health Products regime with the expectation that the legislation will be progressed later this year.

The Ministry will be holding workshops to further inform the development of the code of manufacturing practice, ingredients list, fee structure and rules for evidence that will be required to support health benefit claims. Your input is important to ensuring that the details of the regulatory scheme are developed to best suit your needs.

 
Each workshop will be a half a day and will take the form of a focus group. As each group will only be up to eight participants we ask that you ensure only the people most appropriate to the discussion topics register for the workshop.

 
To register your interest please email us at [email protected] stating which session you would like to attend and state the size of your organisation – small (1-20 products), medium (21-50 products) or large (50+ products). Please also indicate whether you would be able to attend any other sessions to help us balance the number of participants at each.
