ASA New Advertising Code Workshop
The three briefings previously advertised are already full, so we have added a fourth option below.
ASA Education and Development Manager Claire Hofer invites you to attend a briefing on the new Advertising Standards Code.
The Advertising Standards Code is a combination of six existing codes. They are the Code of Ethics, Code for People in Advertising, Code for Comparative Advertising and the Codes for advertising Vehicles, Food and Environmental Claims. The Code comes into effect for new ads on 1st November 2018 and all ads will need to comply by 1st February 2019. This briefing will cover new and updated content in the code, along with examples of relevant advertisements and time for questions.
This is a great way for you and your team to refresh your ASA knowledge and the standards expected in advertising. You’re welcome to forward this invitation on to anyone who you think may be interested in attending this briefing.
