F47/21 China: Registration of Food Premises Undertaking Final Processing

The timelines are tight for this expression of interest so please ensure you read the detail in this FYI as soon as you can.

Summary:
MPI is compiling several lists of New Zealand processing premises whose products are exported to China, for several product categories, following a specific request from China Customs (GACC). The lists need to be submitted to GACC before the end of October 2021. The lists are related to GACC’s Decree 248, which was published in April 2021.

The purpose of this FYI is to seek expressions of interest from operators in being included on this list – where they are the final processor of specific products for export to China, and where the export date occurred between 1 January 2017 and the present day. The specific products are listed in the FYI, Section 3.1.

Any questions or comments regarding this information can be sent to [email protected].
